Outcome: Initial Outcome
In the 4th year of revitalization of Bath County's 4-H School Clubs, within the Bath County School Districts, successes in various grade levels have continue to see growth. Program Year 2016-2017 had over 500 youth participate in at least one school club setting. Program Year 2018-2019 had over 600 youth participate in at least one school club setting. One of this program year's goals has been on recruiting 6th Grade youth into such delivery method and it has resulted in Science Clubs having their organizational meetings, at the end of October.
Lessons from 6 of the 7 4-H Core Curriculum will be introduced, at least once, during the various club meetings. Teachers have reported the 4-H lessons have strengthened or introduced students to content that is key to mastery. Through this experience, youth will continue to develop or strengthen Life Skills needed for life long success.
