Fifteen seniors participated in the “It’s Never too Late for Change” series.   The Snap-Ed assistant utilized the Healthy Choices for Everybody curriculum as the basis for this program.  The focus was for participants to gain knowledge in areas related to portion control, meal planning, having a balanced diet, and the importance of physical activity in all stages of life.

The participants of the series gained knowledge and skills that included making meaningful changes to enhance their overall well-being. Many participants showed an increase in physical activity, as well as many stated that they had fallen in love with cooking again.
