4-H Leader Making the Best Better

Metcalfe County 4-H has a leader that has served in many roles over the past 32 years. His participation started by being a parent volunteer and has led to many other 4-H leadership positions. He states "My most rewarding experience has been seeing youth become good adults.”
You may see him at our school, working with youth interested in starting a livestock project, Livestock judging events, forestry field days or collecting donations for upcoming 4-H events. This is just a few of his many volunteer roles in Extension.
He is very compassionate and enjoys working with youth. He is always interested in helping a youth get started in 4-H. He has impacted so many lives through his volunteer work with 4-H. He says "Learning By Doing" that what kids need.
His years of service to 4-H has impacted not only 4-H members but also his own personal development. Through his various leadership roles in 4-H, He has learned how important it is to work with the youth to enable them to become successful leaders.
He covers a very diverse group of students in Metcalfe County.
His many hours of hard work and dedication has made it possible for students to participate in many 4-H events, and provide a wide variety of 4-H programs for all ages of youth. His dedication has enabled our 4-H program in Metcalfe County to continue to grow due to him will to work long hours in support of many 4-H programs. He has been an amazing asset to the 4-H program. He continues to make the “Best Better”.
