Estill County Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent collaborated with 4-H and KEHA leaders to offer food preservation workshops for a total of twelve participants. Participants learned proper hand washing, safe knife skills and measuring skills. One hundred percent of participants accurately prepared food products using the boiling water canning method of preservation.
