Total cattle numbers reported by attendees included 1,387 brood cows and replacement heifers, 3,051 background/stocker calves and 416 finishing calves. The dollar value associated with the information gained at the conference and subsequent changes to management was between $1000 and $5000 per operation (45% respondents).  Participants came from TN, KY, OH, PA, and IN.
