Crank & Boom Craft Ice Cream (C&B) is a premium ice cream maker in Lexington, Kentucky. The University of Kentucky's Food Systems Innovation Center has worked with C&B over the last several years to perform nutritional analysis and labeling support. During the past year, we have continued this service by developing labels for the C&B Banana Pudding Ice Cream, C&B Cookie Dough Ice Cream, and C&B Martines Pistachio Ice Cream. Two storefront locations in Lexington, KY, and ship nationwide through Goldbelly.

Additionally, shelf life and abuse studies were performed on several of the toppings available in the stores (Caramel Sauce, Peanut Butter Sauce, Strawberry Sauce) and the Waffle Cone Mix. These studies are essential to maintain the highest quality for the consumer.
