ALM Care Facility

Toni Williams-SNAP-Ed Assistant

One of my participants at the ALM Care Facility has been having some health issues. We talked about what the issues were, I suggested that she eat more vegetables and fruits, to see if there is a change in the health issues she was having.

In today’s class we started out with what everyone has been eating over the pass few days and if any one had made any changes to their eating routines. The participant that was having the health issue stated that since eating more vegetables and fruits that she has lost two pounds and that her health issues are improving. I encouraged her to keep eating the vegetables and fruits and to try some vegetables that she normally wouldn’t try.
