Kentucky Core Content for 4th grade students focuses on educating youth on the natural systems that shape the physical layout of the Earth’s surface. An important aspect of this standard focuses on helping youth to make observations and measurements to provide evidence of the effects of weathering or the rate of erosion by water, ice, wind, or vegetation.
