Situation:

Union County residents that responded to UK’s community assessment ranked life skills, minimizing youth substance use, youth life skill training opportunities (leadership and communication skill building opportunities) strengthening youth workforce readiness.as top priorities. 

Long-Term Outcomes:

Youth and adults will use skills learned from Extension to make decisions that impact personal relationships, financial management, and career development. Youth and adults will be better prepared financially by implementing Extension program information.

Intermediate Outcomes:

Use practical living skills in projects, business, and personal situations. Practice responsible consumer and financial decisions. Use basic financial management methods to prepare for the future. Teach others how to apply technology to their lives and businesses.

Initial Outcomes:

Understand financial terminology. Describe the decision making process. Develop technology skills. Identify sound financial decisions.
