When the University of Kentucky Extension Service re-opened its Edmonson County office in 1992, the Fiscal Court provided a budget of $22,000 and asecretary, with two Agent positions. When the current Agent for Agriculture & Natural Resources/4-H Youth Development started in 2005, the County Extension Service had a budget of just under $50,000, still provided by Edmonson County Fiscal Court and housed in the basement of the County Health Department.
