Graves County 4-H teen and adult leaders helped celebrate 4-H during National 4-H Week by hanging 4-H bows on over 40 local businesses. Teen leader Lexie Mathis also recorded a PSA and talked on the Breakfast Show with WYMC. Community response to the 4-H campaign was very favorable. This worked for the teens because it allowed them to be members and still play sports or work afterschool. When Covid-19 hit in March of 2020 and students were sent home, teen council was put on hold along with all other school related activities. This pause in activity was a chance to rethink and rebuild.

As part of a leadership and job shadowing effort, 4-H teens also completed an etiquette training. This was a total extension effort for our youth. First the youth took part in resume and interview skills at their school, then six 4-H youth job shadowed at essential businesses, primarily agricultural businesses.
