The Purchase Area Teen Council held the 3^rd annual Purchase Area Teen Leadership Round-Up for purchase area youth in grades 6^th-12^th on February 28. The event was designed by and for youth, with teens planning event details, teaching workshops and funshops, and promoting area and state level teen leadership opportunities. The Round-Up provided a six-hour learning opportunity in leadership. The day included opportunities for small group mentoring, leadership breakouts by age, funshops in a variety of 4-H curriculum areas, and a community service project in which the youth made 4-H friendship bracelets and handwritten note cards for youth in foster care. Over 80 people attended, including 72 youth and 8 adults. There were youth from six different counties with Fulton County bringing five youth one of which was returning and also had a role in planning and leading PATLR. The other four attending were new participants and they all said they had a really good time and would definitely attend next year! Two also commented, that they learned about 4-H and wanted to join the local 4-H Teen Club!
