All the participants received a book on straw bale gardening and one hundred percent of the attendees reported they could set up and maintain a straw bale garden as a result of attending the program. The Garrard County ANR agent has received further request for information from attendees so they could help friends that where unable to attend. The 4 that said they had previously tried straw bale gardening were happy with results and had received information from previous Extension programs that Garrard County agent had conducted.
