BINGOCIZE Fall Prevention Program - held at Lewis County Senior Center
Describe the Outreach or Educational Program Response (and Partners, if applicable).
This program is a collaboration of University of Kentucky and Western Kentucky University. The senior center is always so appreciative when extension services brings a program to their site.
Provide the Number and Description(s) of Participants/Target Audience.
23 people including 3 males and 20 females (all white) over the age of 60 joined for our first of 20 lessons/exercise dates for Fall Prevention.
Provide a Statement of Outcomes or Program Impact. Please note that the outcomes statement must use evaluation data to describe the change(s) that occurred in individuals, groups, families, businesses, or in the community because of the program/outreach.
All participants completed a Pre-Test stating whether or not they had experiences a recent fall, health issues and other pertinent information. These will all be submitted to WKU at the close of the program. Participants actively engaged today and stated they would continue doing these exercises at home during the days we do not meet. Initial Outcome has begun.
