2024 Cloverbud Camp was another success for our Nicholas County kiddos. These kids learned life skills, teamwork and how to communicate. They learned to clean up after theirselves in the cabins and during meals, learned to make their beds and keep up with their belongings. They also learned the value of new friendships from other counties and getting to know people and be friends with those who they aren’t around all the time. These kids got the chance to experience staying away from home which some have never done before. They learned how to make homemade ice cream and work together with partners on working to make the ice cream in a bag. They learned about nature and the trees/bugs around them to know more about their surroundings. These kids learned so much more within their 3 days at camp. This year Nicholas Co. brought 12 female campers and 6 male campers which is more than we have brought in years to camp.
