Outcome: Long-Term Outcome

TheTwenty-four men embarked on a transformative journey through the Healthy Choices for Your Recovering Body (HCYRB) program. This initiative aimed not only to educate but to empower its participants toward healthier lifestyles and enhanced recovery from substance use. problem

From the very start, the impact of HCYRB was palpable. Nearly all participants, an impressive 97.1%, expressed newfound intentions to elevate their dietary habits. They eagerly committed to consuming more servings of fruits and vegetables daily, opting for nutritious snacks, and selecting foods rich in fiber while shunning drinks high in added sugars. This shift was not merely a temporary adjustment but a pledge to embrace lasting changes in their nutritional choices.

Moreover, the program's influence extended beyond the dining table. A resounding 100% of participants acknowledged that their involvement in HCYRB had significantly bolstered their understanding of substance use recovery. Armed with this newfound knowledge, they were inspired to implement essential self-care strategies, adopt healthier eating habits, and integrate physical activity into their daily routines.

Equally impactful were the mindfulness exercises introduced in the program, which the men embraced wholeheartedly. These practices not only helped manage stress but also deepened their connection to the recovery journey.

The program  leaves an indelible mark on its participants, empowering them with knowledge, resilience, and hope. With each success HCYRB reaffirms its mission to uplift lives, one healthy choice at a time.
