Program impact or participant response: The program took participants through a step by step process on how to garden safely, what tools are needed, how this can be a form of exercise, and work towards the start of a gardening group. The program also aimed to increase their knowledge on farmers markets and benefits available to them. We had 35 participants in this program and are planning to continue working with them throughout the year.
