They have rebooted a weekly free live-music event in downtown Hazard and are organizing the inaugural Appalachian Arts Fest, a multi-day conference for artists to workshop best-practices for arts as a livelihood.
The project will support new works of art for the Festival, as well as support repositioning a defunct community asset--the Bobby Davis Museum Building--for rotating exhibitions, workshops, and events.
