Progressive Ag Foundation Safety Day was such a great experience! All 4th graders from Kyrock and South Edmonson Elementary came to learn all about safety today at the Edmonson County Fairgrounds! We are so thankful for all of our presenters and the wonderful day they provided! The Progressive Ag Safety Day hadn't been hosted in Edmonson County for almost a decade. Our 4th graders were transported to a regional Safety Day at WKU Ag Expo Center with Warren and Simpson counties by FRYSC.
The following stations were provided:
First Aid- Edmonson County High School Allied Health Classes taught by Alex Jane Massey
Emergency Safety- Edmonson County EMS taught by Ashley Ritter
Fire Safety- Chalybeate Fire Dept taught by Pete Tarantino
Tractor Safety- Edmonson County 4-H taught by Eli Meredith
Water Safety- Army Corp of Engineers taught by Danielle Robertson
Firearm/Hunter Safety-KY Fish & Wildlife taught by Bryant Carleton
Driving Safety- Kentucky State Police taught by Trooper Daniel Priddy
Horse Safety- Edmonson County 4-H Pony Express Horse Club taught by Tracy Mitchell
Cow Safety- KSU Agent Tyler London
Chemical Safety- Edmonson County Soil Conservation and NRCS taught by Barbara Johnson and Justin Smith
Sun Safety- Edmonson County FRYSC and KSU taught by Natalie Stice, Mindy Vincent, Amanda Denham, and Megan Treadway.
