Plan of Work: Develop Individuals for Volunteer Roles
Outcome: Initial Outcome
In efforts to educate elected officials, community leaders and county employees on all the services the Extension Office has to offer, the Bell County Extension Staff along with the support and leadership from the Bell County District Board and Bell County Judge Executive the Courthouse Holiday Dinner was held.
100 individuals gathered to celebrate the year and came together in unity to be proud of our county and it’s development. The Extension Office Staff plans, sets up and greets guest for the dinner. The staff and some board members talk with leaders about Extension programs and the growth of our office. A display board with programs from each program area (Ag, FCS, 4-H and Snap Ed) and materials were on hand for people to view and read.
With new officials taking office and coming on board for the new year, this was an opportunity for them to meet our staff and get to know more about the Extension Service. The Bell County Judge Executive states, “I want to thank our Extension Office and appreciate all they do to make this dinner happen.”
