To address this issue, in January of 2022 the Bullitt County Extension Office was once again able to partner with the Mt. Washington Library to offer the Healthy Choices for Everybody series in person.
Six participants attended the classes that included tips for physical activity, My Plate, Food Safety, Breakfast, Budgeting, How to Read Nutrition Labels, Know the Limits on Fats, Sugars and Salt. At the end of the series a participant made the remark that she was going to make sure that she started reading the nutrition labels on all food before she bought it.
