The LaRue County 4-H Council offers an annual scholarship to a local graduating high school senior in the amount of $500. In 2025, the passing of a 4-H supporter and past volunteer provided the opportunity for individuals to contribute in memory of the individual. The family members asked for donations to be made to LaRue County 4-H for the purpose of a scholarship. Donations made it possible to offer the scholarship to five graduating seniors instead of the usual one per year.

Woodfill Elementary in Fort Thomas, Kentucky (Campbell County) began incubating chicks with 4-H in Spring 2023. The three second grade teachers were delighted by how engaged the students were and noticed the lasting educational impact the program was having on their students and community. Stuck in the Middle at West Kentucky 4-H Camp is a unique and impactful event designed specifically for middle school youth (6th-8th grade). This event was a success, bringing together young people from 13 counties in Western Kentucky for a weekend of fun, friendship, and growth.
