The Simpson County Extension Office moved to its current location in 1986, an old post office building. Since 1986 the Extension Office had not been renovated. The District Board voted to renovate the upstairs office space in 2019 since the building was deeded to them in 2018. Situation:Prior to the Covid 19 Pandemic, the Crittenden County Extension Service page was underutilized. The 4-H agent was best about posting pictures of what the youth were involved in. The staff assistant was great at posting fliers of our upcoming events but that was about all the office used the social media for. In February, the KSU team attended the Jefferson County FRYSC Meeting. This is a monthly meeting that is held to supply FRYCS from over 100 schools with information regarding resources to be utilized in their schools.
