Increased Numbers of COVID-19 in Pulaski County Pulaski County continues to lead the Lake Cumberland Area in the number of people identified with the COVID-19 virus. As of December 10, the Lake Cumberland Area has experienced 10,508 cumulative confirmed cases with 2,818 being from Pulaski County. Pulaski County Extension has continuously worked to decrease this number

COVID-19 Results

As of June 15, 2021, Pulaski County had reported 6,530 cases of COVID-19, with 117 deaths related to the virus. Pulaski County Extension has worked with the Lake Cumberland District Health Department in reporting the weekly statistics in their weekly newspaper article and on other media outlooks. Pulaski County Extension joined in with 21 others nonprofit organizations and 18 Food Vendors at the “Sample of Somerset” an evening event that was attended by more than 1,000 people. Attendees received educational information about the services provided by the Pulaski Extension Service while sampling delicious foods from the local food suppliers and restaurants.
