Equine health issues are one of the biggest concerns to Kentucky horse owners. In the 2022 Kentucky Equine Survey, a total of $99,000,000 was spent in 2022 for Vet/Health related expenses. Of these health-related issues, Kentucky horse owners ranked Senior Equine Care, Musculoskeletal Issues, Gut/Digestive Problems, Parasites, and Laminitis as issues with most concern.
