Northeast Area Head Start Parent Group

The Lawrence County Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP-Ed) assistant partnered with Northeast Area Head Start to offer a series of nutrition classes to parents of preschool-aged children. The parent group met once a month throughout the school calendar year. The Job Readiness Activities (JRA) group is a newpartnership as a result of visiting with the Lawrence County DCBS Office staffand attending a local Interagency Council meeting.
