The EPA considers some leftover household products that can catch fire, react, or explode under certain circumstances, or that are corrosive or toxic as household hazardous waste. Products, such as paints, cleaners, oils, batteries, and pesticides can contain hazardous ingredients and require special care when you dispose of them. The Campbell County Cooperative Extension Service hosted a cleanup site for the 2018 Ohio River Sweep on Saturday, June 16, 2018. The Ohio River Sweep is a riverbank cleanup that extends the entire length of the Ohio River and many of its tributaries.
