The obesity rates in Lee County are very high. The University offered this program training and I decided to attend and be trained to help better the county.
Senior Citizens will be able to strengthen their muscles to help better their health and be able to do more everyday activities. Take home the exercises learned and practice them and incorporate them in their everyday routines.
- Improve and/or maintain mobility and independence
- Learn and use health information focused on falls reduction, improved nutrition, and other health-related behaviors
- Engage older adults in social settings

Participants will learn different exercises, gain social skills from being around a group of people, and have fun.

Bingocize® was created by Dr. Jason Crandall, Co-Director/Co-Founder at the WKU Center for Applied Science in Health & Aging. He created the socially engaging group-based game that combines health education and exercise in the format of BINGO. Dr. Crandall and his research team have tested the program and demonstrated that over 90% of older adults who played two times a week for 10 weeks significantly improved physical, social and mental health.
