Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many families are struggling to make ends meet and feed their families. Jackson County Cooperative Extension partnered with Save the Children to obtain USDA Food boxes to help feed families in need throughout the community. Each week during the months of March and April, a truck load of food costing $44,000 and containing 1,300 boxes of food is brought into the county.
