Strong leadership skills are important for a vital Extension Homemaker program. Twenty-eight Wayne County Extension Homemakers participated in Officer and Leadership Training Event. Participants reported before and after knowledge, skills and confidence of key leadership skills via paper survey.
99 % reported a gain in knowledge in KEHA Programming emphases.
100% reported a gain in understanding the importance of KEHA reporting.
100% reported a gain in KEHA membership campaigns and incentives.
100% reported a gain in understanding important dates during the KEHA year.
100% reported a gain in understanding their roles and responsibilities as KEHA leadership and officers.
100% reported planning to share gained knowledge with club members.
100% reported they will use learned skills and knowledge to fulfill leadership roles in club, county and area.
These skills are not only vital to the growth and strength of the Wayne County Extension Homemakers, they expand outward for service in other community organizations.
