In 2017, we established the KYForages YouTube Channel. The impact of this endeavor continues to grow. Our subscribers have doubled in the last two years to more than 2,700. In this reporting period, content from this channel has been viewed more 125,000 times with an average watch time of more than 12 minutes resulting in a total watch time that exceeds 1.5 million minutes. The United States and Canada make up 75% of the total views with the remaining 25% coming from abroad. The use of this YouTube has extended the reach of the UK Forages Extension program by more than 10-fold. For example, approximately 80 individuals attended the 40th Annual Alfalfa and Stored Forage Conference that was held virtually. However, the videos from this conference have been viewed more than 1,500 times. The reach of this high-quality program was expanded by more than 15 times, allowing individuals from around the country and world to benefit.
