The availability of in-depth pest management information for Farmers and consultants in western Kentucky is limited due to most field days involving a multitude of topics that revolve around agronomics.  The Pest Management Field Day at the UKREC was moved to virtual format in 2020 and organized to allow farmers, crop consultants, and industry representatives to gain in-depth insight in to the research being conducted by the University of Kentucky pest management research teams.  The field day was held virtually on August 20, 2020. The day featured presentations from Dr. Kiersten Wise, Dr. Carl Bradley, Dr. Raul Villanueva, Dr. Erin Haramoto, Dr. JD Green, Dr. Mike Barrett and Dr. Travis Legleiter as well as multiple graduate students from the weed science and plant pathology programs.  The virtual field day was attended by by 52 industry professionals and provided an estimated $455,660 value to attendees.
