Outcome: Initial Outcome
For the second year in a row, the Edmonson County Extension Service teamed up with the Edmonson County Soil Conservation District to facilitate the annual tree seedling give away that the Soil Conservation Office has done for many years. As with last year, The Edmonson County Agriculture & Natural Resource Agent (ANR) and Family & Consumer Sciences Agent (FCS) partnered with Soil Conservation to help distribute tree seedlings to members of the community. This year, participants picked up a bundle with 6 - 8 different species of tree seedlings that they could plant. The ANR Agent, FCS Agent, and Office Support staff, along with the Soil Conservation Office, worked together to package the trees. Bundles were placed outside the Extension Office in April for pick up. A total of 900 seedlings were given away, the same as last year.
