Planning Unit: Hardin County CES

Major Program: Agriculture and Extension Leadership Development

Plan of Work: Activating Volunteer Leaders through Extension Programs

Outcome: Intermediate Outcome

Local cattlemen's association decided to hold a drive-thru annual meeting at the Extension Office during the pandemic in order to provide information on the association's activities, momentarily fellowship with other beef producers, and provide participants with a beef meal to go.  They were a little disappointed with the turnout, yet were satisfied with the effort.  Agent was also nominated by the local association to the KCA Hall of Fame, which resulted in the agent selected regionally as the winner, was sent on to the state and inducted into the KCA Hall of Fame.  KCA produced a video involving various state industry allied personnel that have been involved with the agent in programs locally and statewide, mainly thru UK Beef IRM efforts.  A socially distanced viewing was held at the Extension Office in January.
