As of June 15, 2021, Pulaski County had reported 6,530 cases of COVID-19, with 117 deaths related to the virus.  Pulaski County Extension has worked with the Lake Cumberland District Health Department in reporting the weekly statistics in their weekly newspaper article and on other media outlooks.  They have encouraging everyone to wear a mask and watch their 6 feet distances when in public.

Pulaski County Extension homemakers and friends have made hundreds of face masks to give to individual people and different groups needing face masks for their programs.  In addition to making the cloth face mask,  agents from the Extension Office  participated in making 6000 plastic face masks for the KCTCS School to  distribute where needed.
