2020 KACAA and NACAA Achievement Award Recipient

Outcome: Initial Outcome

Abstract: Since 2015, Keith Center, Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent in Elliott County, has developed a diversity of programs in horticulture, forestry, beef production, forages, and youth agriculture. Active as a KACAA member, he won the 2018 Excellence in 4-H Programming award and placed 2nd in the Applied Research Poster Presentation in 2016 and 2018. It is Keith's goal to educate and engage local producers and the youth of the community through research-based education. 

The Achievement Award recognizes agents with 3-9 years of service for their outstanding program efforts, community development, and council development. The Kentucky Association of County Agriculture Agents (KACAA) held its annual awards program on September 22, 2020 via virtual Zoom. The National Association of County Agriculture Agents (NACAA) held its annual meeting September 28 thru October 1, 2020 via virtual Zoom. Keith was recognized at both the State and National meeting and would like to thank the community, youth and volunteers who made receiving this award possible. Without their support winning awards like this would not be possible!
