Thankful for our modern technology and social media, the chick incubation project went on as planned. The project was available to all Bullitt County elementary schools through Facebook and packets of educational material. The videos included daily updates about the hatching process. Discussed candling, humidity and temperature, development stages during the 21 days. Participants commented about how much they liked getting to experience 21 days of the project.Teachers enjoy having this project every year and enhancing their life cycle curriculum. 4-H enjoys bringing agriculture into the classroom.
