In 2018 one of the major goals that I had was to get an Agriculture Newsletter started in Pulaski County. This is something that I wanted to see happen but is also something that was ask by our Agriculture Advisory Council.
The goal was one to use to get information out to the local producers in a timely manner. Also we wanted to use this to give people a better ideal of what extension has to offer and recruit for programs in the future.
When we first started we sent newsletter out to around 175 people, we have now seen that number grow to over 400 in just two years. This has giving us the ability to reach out to groups that we might not have normally reached with certain programs. We have seen a increase in attendance in certain programs that can be related directly to the information gartered from the news letter.
