Participants opened their trunk and volunteers deposited 4 pounds of potatoes, 2 pounds of carrots, 2 pounds of onions and some other vegetable. A melon and an assortment of fresh fruit like bananas, berries, apples, peaches, or pears was added. The first 85 cars received a baked product like bread, rolls, or cakes. Every car was provided with a bag of nutrition information and recipes. One hundred thirty-four families representing nearly 400 individuals received produce and nutrition information.
