As families across Kentucky are spending the holidays at home, the Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent and the 4H Youth Development Agent partnered to offer a program that would provide an opportunity to families to spend time together learning about holidays across the world that are different to their own, managing finances, healthier eating habits, a n educational craft, and family bonding time. This program was only offered as a one-time program, however the educational components inside the program would entertain and educate for their time off from school and/or work. As a result of this program, 100% of the families stated that they learned something new regarding how other countries celebrate the holidays, learned about better budgeting methods, and gained family togetherness.
