Outcome: Intermediate Outcome
A hydroponics program was conducted at the Brighton Center in Newport, KY for over the course of 8 weeks. It was led by 5 youth and 1 Program Leader, Yovani Velasquez. They continue to learn about the STEM aspects of soilless systems. 2 heads of Spinach, 5 heads lettuce and 1 Swiss Chard were grown to donate as a service learning project. There are still seedlings left, so they are making improvements from the data that was gathered the first go round. #nosoiljustwater #Kentucky4-H#grows here
