With the COVID-19 pandemic in full force, the planning for the 4-H year is looking very different. One annual event that could not be held in its normal capacity was Enrollment Night. Normally, the 4-H Open Enrollment Night is a night for 4-Hers and families to come to extension office and meet me, the other club leaders, and see the clubs that are being offered. In order, to provide the youth of Bracken County some sort of enrollment night we had a drive-through enrollment night. Youth were still able to come to the extension office and drive-through and discover different clubs. I was also available to provide answers to any questions. Some thoughts from the night from attendees were “ This was a lot of fun!” “Very easy to join clubs”. By the end of the evening, we had over 70 people come through this enrollment night.
