In support of the new normal, the Magoffin County Supplemental Nutrition Education Program Assistant partnered with the 4H Agent and Family and consumer Science Educators to implement new ways to reach the residents of Magoffin County. This office implemented the Brown Bag County Project. These brown bags where made bi-weekly for children as well a adults activities included activities like make you own Stress ball, Energy Bites, How to Sew a Button, Make a Living Necklace, making a Sugar Scrub, Exercise Bands, etc.  Each bag contained things needed to complete the activity.

Some of the comments the Magoffin County Extension Service received were: “this is a great program.” “We are so happy to have help planning the longs days with our kids at home. “One mom even showcased a live Facebook Video of her daughter doing the activity from her Brown Bag.
