Major Program: Staff Development

Outcome: Initial Outcome

When the COVID19 pandemic required FCS Extension and all of the University to reimagine program delivery for the entire last quarter of this fiscal year, we stepped up to the plate to provide online content four our agents to repurpose and use in the method that was most beneficial in their own communities.

Our immediate response was reactive, trying to find ways on very short notice to reinvent everything that we do.  Fortunately, having the FCS Facebook page and website, we were able to use these tandem delivery vehicles to ensure that agents were able to immediately access methods for online programming in local communities.

Our specialists and associates immediately stepped up to ensure that the transition from traditional programming to exclusive online programming was as smooth as possible.  Everyone brushed up on their technical skills to provide excellent programming that could be immediately accessed by the consumer or filtered through the FCS Agents outlets.

30 webinar videos have been produced for use by agents.  A Youtube channel was created to house all the videos, as well as short informational videos created by the specialists for use on local social media accounts.  The FCS Facebook page transitioned from a program and achievement recognition page to and educational outlet that agents can access as need arise locally to provide immediate response to emerging issues.
