Outcome: Initial Outcome
Extension specialists in the Department of Agricultural Economics conducted their annual series of Lenders Conferences across the state to discuss the current situation and outlook for the ag economy. These seminars are designed to assist bankers in providing loans and other financial services for our farmers and ag businesses. Locations include Mayfield, Hopkinsville, Henderson/Owensboro and Lexington/Central Kentucky. Approximately 150 lenders representing several dozen different banking institutions attended.
Evaluations suggested the information received was informative and timely. On average across locations, lenders rated presenters 4.4 and 4.57 on a 5-point scale for likeliness of use and presentation quality, respectively. Every single lender that responded to the survey (90) indicated that they would attend the conference again.
