As I sit here reflecting back on the first 6 months of my career with Extension, it makes me realize how my background and experiances have prepaired me for this rapid change in my work enviroment. Just like on the farm, things can and will change in the blink of an eye. I have been there and done that and currently in the middle of a very fluid transition. I have learned to put my best foot forward and keep up the work. COVID-19 has been very hard on Extension programing. Even with restrictions in place I have been able to continue weekly informational media sessions, reach clientel in different ways like Facebook live vidoes, and help clientel with on farm problems or questions via phone, pictures, or site visits if needed. The current office situation in these times has changed the amount of time that I have been in the office. Just like the farm has taught me, I put my best foot forward and keep on top of things so I can make the most of the time that I am in the office. I feel like with the restrictions that are in place, I have been able to serve the clientel's needs fully.
