Major Program: Logging Training and Professional Education
Plan of Work: Unrelated to a specified County Plan of Work
Outcome: Initial Outcome
The Clinton County Cooperative Extension service participated in the woodland owner short course offered through the UK forestry department. The series was conducted completely online, giving local Extension offices the opportunity to be a host site. The program was well received by area master loggers that needed continuing education hours to maintain their master logger certification. Master logger participants that attended the educational sessions were appreciative of the opportunity to attend night sessions and receive CEU credit at their local county office, rather than driving long distances typically during the daytime.
