As programming through the 21st century is more advanced in technology it can be useful in the times that we are facing it can also be difficult for those that do not have all of the equipment that they need. Each of the youth that are involved in our programs are all faced with challenges through daily tasks. Having to deal with a new world and a new way of learning can be challenging so in lite in the current new normal for our schools and youth we partnered to have weekly packets available for each elementary school that chose to participate with 4-H. Weekly packets of different 4-H curriculum has gone out for over 13 weeks. Youth have learned new skills in agriculture, family consumer science, art, science, technology, and math. Each week the topic has been different to give the youth an opportunity to gain interest in what 4-H has to offer. The total number of packets that have gone out to date is 1,750. Curriculum and supplies needed for each of the projects was put together and placed at the elementary schools, community partners buildings and given out weekly. Communication was set through technology with the schools, through Facebook, messenger, emails, and letters being sent to the youth and parents in the 4-H program. New youth have been gained into the 4-H program through technology.
