Volunteers are the heart of any successful Extension program, but they are often the unsung heroes. The Morgan County Extension Council, in an effort to highlight the importance of these volunteers, organized an annual fall recognition dinner. Leaders from each program area including 4-H, ANR, FCS and Community Development were acknowledged for over 150 years of combined service. From Fair Board and Farmers Market to Homemakers and Historical Association, these volunteers have had lasting impact not only on the groups they serve, but also on the community.
