Teen Conference and Leadership Achievements
4-HTeen Conference. This year 18 Butler county 4-H members and leaders attended 4-H Teen Conference. We always have a big group, 14 last year,
This year we had 1 State 4-H Teen Council member, Two SET board members, Three 4-H Performing Arts Troupe and Communications Leadership Board members, and Luke Jacobs of Butler co. was elected KY 4-H State Vice President.
Luke is such a fine young man who has worked diligently to make his dream of being a “Green Jacket” a reality. He has won multiple categories in state communications contests, and brought as many as 4 country ham plaques home in a single year. Plus, winning multiple Divisions at State Fair and being one of two Gold Honors recipients and attending National 4-H Congress.
All of these youth are outstanding examples of long term learning and development and real achievement. Most especially Luke.
